And because it's their one year anniversary they're giving away TWO prizes to two lucky winners who link up their project.
Below are the details; or click HERE to go straight to their challenge for this month.
This month we are using the vampire bat cut from the Create a Critter 2
cartridge. If you have this cartridge we'd love it if you'd use that cut on
your project. We are also opening up this challenge a little bit more since
it's our anniversary. You can submit ANY Halloween project as long as it's made
between today and October 16th. No past projects please. :)
There are still a few days to enter your project, so I hope you'll be able to join in on the fun. For my project, I'm using the vampire bat from Teresa Collins Chic n Scary cartridge. (I don't have the Create A Critter 2 cartridge, yet)
I chose to make a Halloween scene using a few cuts from the Chic n Scary.
This little Batty's face is stamped with Peachy Keen Pumpkin Faces...I did a little stamp rendering. The little mouth, is actually the nose of the pumpkin face. I masked off the mouth cause it just didn't fit right, but the nose actually looks like a mouth once I stamped it on the bat. I think he looks a little "hungry" lol then I pop dotted him so he's "flying". You can't see it real well, but I also used Glossy Accents on his eyes.
This is the Gnarly Tree cut. I accented it by using white jelly roll pen. I added the glittery moon to make the tree and bat stand out a bit more. Ohhh, lookin' scary, ha! The last cut I added to my Halloween scene is the picket fence and crow. I had to cut this one twice, once in brown kraft color and in black. Then I just cut the crow off in black and glued him on. I used brown felt pen and made the lines for the boards of the picket fence. No white wash here.
On the inside I simply stamped Happy Halloween.
Hope you enjoyed my card that I'm entering into the Simply Crafts challenge. I hope you'll enter your project too.
Chao for now. --C
